This Privacy Policy explains how Commerce OS collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use the platform or connect third-party marketplace accounts.

We may collect account information you provide directly, information required to operate your Commerce OS account, product and inventory data, supplier information, purchase-order information, listing information, order information and marketplace connection data.

When you connect a third-party marketplace such as eBay, we may receive identifiers and authorization credentials required to provide the marketplace integration.

When you choose to connect an eBay account, Commerce OS uses eBay's authorization process to request permission to access the marketplace features required by the service.

Commerce OS does not require you to provide your eBay password directly to Commerce OS. Sign-in and authorization are handled through eBay.

Where authorization is granted, Commerce OS may securely store information such as the connected eBay account identifier, authorization tokens, granted permissions and token expiry information so that requested marketplace features can operate.

If you connect more than one eBay seller account, each authorized account may be stored as a separate marketplace connection associated with your Commerce OS account.

Information processed by Commerce OS may be used to provide product research, supplier sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, marketplace listing management, order processing, analytics and automation features requested by the user.

Marketplace information is used only as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the marketplace functionality you choose to use.

Connecting a marketplace is optional. You choose whether to authorize Commerce OS to access a supported marketplace account.

Marketplace access is limited by the permissions granted during the applicable marketplace authorization process.

Commerce OS uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration.

Sensitive marketplace credentials are intended to be processed by server-side services and should not be intentionally exposed through the Commerce OS browser interface.

Commerce OS does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that are required to operate the platform, including infrastructure, database and marketplace services.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security or integrity of the platform and its users.

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business records, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Marketplace authorization information may be removed or invalidated when a marketplace connection is disconnected or authorization is revoked, subject to applicable retention requirements.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request access, correction or deletion of certain information.

You may also disconnect marketplace integrations and revoke marketplace authorization through the relevant marketplace where supported.

Commerce OS may integrate with third-party services including online marketplaces. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Commerce OS is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party services.

This Privacy Policy may be updated as Commerce OS develops, marketplace integrations change or legal requirements evolve. The date displayed at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last updated.
